Confirm. It was a tough choice to trade backstrom but Montreal offered a great return in a young almost Russian in Galchenyuk and two blue chip prospects in McCarron and Scherbak.

We still have Andersen available for the right price and are always looking for more Russians, perhaps ones that rhyme with homeroff and pocknikov.

I've come to realize even if the team I'm running in this fantasy mock has different needs, my draft board tends to reflect what I want the Avs board to look like.

I might consider the team's positional needs but I like who I like so that doesn't change. Like I know the Avs probably aren't going to take Abramov but I like him, he's perfect for the Leafs. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on Day, if it were the Avs I wouldn't use my only second on him tho.
