Nick Johnson was a top 10 prospect according to a few publications at one point in time. He was an exceptional pure hitter. If he stayed healthy, he would have been a monster.
Bird is/was good, but not on that level.
Not including OBP, Bird is pretty close to that level, if not, even a bit moreso.
