Trop and Dean Martin, the current truck lot next to Wild West (the one directly across from In-n-Out, not the other side of Wild West). Yay, a new traffic nightmare adding to a bad traffic area!

Ownership better start spending some money once they move. If they continue being the bargain bin farm team they have been the novelty is going to wear out quick.

Is that whole parcel of land big enough? From Trop to Tompkins. Looks a bit smaller than the parcel Allegiant is on.

We do work for Gatski. Looks like they're about to have to move. We built the building behind theirs for Vegas Auto Gallery who is a VGK sponsor now about 3 years ago. As someone who just had to move for the same reasons for the new shit going up next to Area 15 I know how much it sucks.

North of that parking lot to Thompson it widens pretty dramatically. You could almost juuuust wedge T-Mobile into the parking lot itself. If the parcel includes taking out all the structures to Thompson, I think it fits an MLB stadium with a bigger parking shortage than Allegiant has. This is what the area casinos want. Pay $50 to park in their garage, spend some cash in their casinos, then go to the game.

Speculation till I hear something definite.
Final.

I don't want the classic cap to change.
That's my childhood favorite.

Hate the A's but really want baseball. Last missing piece in my opinion. Could care less about the NBA. Used to be a huge fan but it just isn't an entertaining league anymore.

Foley should team up with Davis and state he's opposed. Whether we like it or not, VGK is the biggest loser to adding MLB and then NBA to the city. Winning in year one was absolutely huge for them being able to compete at this point but if the team has a poor phase with losing records the Fortress is going to look more like an abandoned post.

Baseball being in town is not going to matter for the Knights attendance, mainly because there is very little overlap in seasons. Any long stretches of the Knights being bad will, but they'll still have the tourist ticket market to fall back on. The NBA is the only league that could come to town and really hurt attendance wise.

I don't think the season timing matters as much. Both are chasing limited amounts of premium ticket money and advertising dollars. When the Naqvis of the world have an MLB team to sponsor as well they will hurt VGK. And for fans who want to buy tickets to sports there is a limit in the wallet. The tourists are the only ones for whom the lack of overlap matters.

Excellent interview with LVSportsBiz guy on A's potentially moving to Las Vegas and comparing it to Raiders and Golden Knights, mentions NBA hopefuls, etc.

I know this was posted a while ago but I 100% agree. NBA is the one that would impact the Knights.

I think the Athletics would do well in Vegas, and an MLS team in Allegiant would also do well without hurting the Knights bottom line (or the Raiders obviously.)

I think Vegas needs another decade of growth before trying to get an NBA team here too.

I know Seattle and Vegas are the favorites for expansion but hopefully Kansas City or St. Louis or somewhere steps in.

Culinary union forced site change. Trop workers getting promises during stadium build. Sales tax in/around stadium would be used to service bonds. Team asking for suspension of entertainment tax.
