Montreal have the 5th overall pick and both are available who do you pick ?
Why?Easily Michkov imo.
I would also take Smith over Benson as well.
I’d humbly suggest reading up on our draft thread where several of our draft-savvy posters have already broken down prognostications: 2023 NHL Entry DraftMontreal have the 5th overall pick and both are available who do you pick ?
AmenI’m blocking everyone that voted Benson

See ya!Amen
Michkov is going to be selected second overall, he's just too good to pass on even with all the outside factors surrounding him.Montreal have the 5th overall pick and both are available who do you pick ?
If Michkov is going second, we want to be fourth.Michkov is going to be selected second overall, he's just too good to pass on even with all the outside factors surrounding him.
It's ok, he doesn't mind. Loves playing as the big fish in the small pond. He may get to the NHL before 2026 only if they kick him out of the league for repeated abuse of officials. Then he and his clan will suddenly prioritize the NHL.i'll take the 2nd best prospect of the draft and not worry about rushing him to the NHL
We want to draft in the top-6 and if Michkov is available when it's our turn we must draft him. Except if we win the lottery. If Michkov is going second, we want to be fourth.
Why draft a small, entitled player who does not prioritize the NHL?We want to draft in the top-6 and if Michkov is available when it's our turn we must draft him. Except if we win the lottery.
Don't @ me with that bullshit. Why draft a small, entitled player who does not prioritize the NHL?
Well, he is 148 pounds.Don't @ me with that bullshit.
