If Tolvanen plays 10 AHL games he has the option to go back to the KHL for the rest of the year. He’s playing his fifth AHL game tonight. So a decision will need to be made soon by both parties.

Did Pierre get demoted? He was with Gord Miller last night. Boucher is down by the benches with Doc & Eddie tonight.

If so Boucher has climbed the NHL media ranks pretty damn quickly over the years.

Ovechkin skates like he added 40lbs in off season yet he still has 4 goals.

Tkachuk has 6 points in 4 games......Chabot 8 points in 6 games......Lajoie 7 points in 6 games. Lajoie would be 2nd on the Flyers in goals and is half-way to matching his career high in goals from juniors. I'm not going to bet on that 22% shooting %, and his underlying numbers stink, but it's all rather funny. I love a good narrative.

Really good players you are talking about there. Allot more to give yet to.

Boucher has a lot of going for himself , he's very media friendly in looks and etc. unlike Pierre or Milbury.

I think if a player leaves in bad faith all that really happens is the IIHF gets involved & puts restrictions on the player in their sanctioned events.

I don’t think there was a meaningful punch landed in the whole tilt, not because a lack of effort though. They were chucking them wildly. Benn got one early but his glove was on.

Well you can certainly look at it this way... but clearly Rags went to OT because of Lundqvists .920 SVPCT before Caps scored 4th goal.
