Lavy probably would of been here longer if he was coaching the way he is now. Now he ia making adjustments to what the other team is doing. Nashville can beat you numerous ways. Lavy was pretty stubborn when he was here. Would not make coaching adjustments when the Flyers would face tight checking, defensively structured teams.
I am not trying to diminish the job he did here at all. Just sayin
Keith Jones said last season on WIP that the main reason Lavy was let go was because of his he handled his wish for a new contract. He said Lavy is a great coach but he is known around the league as a pain in the arse to deal with when contracts come up. He has a high opinion of himself rightfully so but he burns bridges with how he handles it with management. He gets more concerned with himself then the play of the team.
I could see that with NYI and CAR but Snider wasn’t shy about spending money so he must have really been a pain in Homers arse added to the horrible start to the season.
Jones rarely gossips but when he does it is accurate.

The Mandog's Curse. Bowman should have consulted with the gypsy fortune-teller and she could have warned him all about this before he tendered the contract offer. Too late now, Stan! You've doomed the entire Chicago Blackhawks organization for a generation or more.
