Somebody had to come out of that shit division, and Montreal got hot at the right time, so here we are.

I don't think the Habs are that good, but they are very opportunistic and got hot at the right time. The Canadian division was extremely weak and the Habs looked like the only team that had any defensive structure. Yet they likely don't even make the playoffs the past 2 seasons under regulars circumstance. They have Price in net though and he can steal a series. Toronto's big guns didn't even show up, which they never do, and WPG looked like a mess.
They play the winner of the Avs/Knights series, and my gut tells me either of those teams should easily beat the Habs, but the hockey world hates me, so who knows what happens?

The North Division is an abomination. It was concocted to get the Leafs a bye to the Final Four and they couldn't even do that so someone had to make it.
They're fodder for the Avs or Golden Knights.

Grubauer or Fleury better show up in that series against Montreal. Otherwise there could be a rude awakening for their teams.

In 7 games, Gus has not been on the ice for and goals against 5vs5(4-0)....and at all strengths is 8-1.

He had 10 pts in 24 games...a 34 pt pace/82 games. That's not useless.
He was overpaid and should have been the #7Dman...not seen as a possible Niskanen and Ghost replacement.

I mean, let's not act like he's been a difference maker at ES for them. He's averaging 10 minutes and 2 of his 3 points have been on the PP.
He's a solid PP weapon, as he was for us.
