Well that’s pretty sad. Can someone sum up these last 20 years in bullet points for us noobs please? :)
Fledging Commodore in AHL's Cincinnati, 2002-03 - played 61/80 games - blamed Babcock

skip forward ~9 years

Journeyman veteran Commodore in NHL's Detroit, 2011-12 - played 17/~60 games - blamed Babcock
Was traded - blamed Babcock (played 13/~20 games with Tampa, 0 points)

Jump to off-season - not signed by an NHL - blamed Babcock

skip ~2 years later, Commodore playing in KHL, 2013-14 - blasts Babcock to Russian journalists - blames Babcock for everything in his career

skip ~2 years later, no job - blasts Babcock on twitter - drew the line at calling him Hitler - said he was hacked, and then backtracked, said it was him

skip ~2 years later - blasts Babcock on twitter again

skip ~ 1 year later, present - multiple hot takes on Babcock in the interim - goes full out with Babcock's firing, blaming Babcock for everything, period

Commodore is pathetic. Imagine holding a grudge that started almost twenty years ago. I know he's doing it for attention, but I don't think he realises people aren't laughing with him, but at him.

He is pathetic but not wrong. Isnt mutually exclusive. Babcocks a scumbag multiple examples but Commodore needs to get over it.

Basically Commodore sucked as a hockey player. Enough to get bought out right after signing. No team in the league wanted him. Babcock gave him a shot. He sucked again. Traded to another NHL team who also quickly realized he sucked. Went through multiple leagues and multiple coaches and they all quickly reached the same conclusion...he sucked. Blames his life on Babcock instead of asking why everyone else in multiple leagues reached the exact same conclusion. HE SUCKED!!! 20 years later, still bleating about it.

Which part.

Well known Babcock has an ego. Lots of players dont like him. Hed rather lose his way than change and win. Its all clear and we should have listened to wings fans. They called it exactly like it is.
The stuff about himself, details he presents on Modano, his hot takes on Chelios.....

Much of what he says lacks a lot of detail, doesn't hold up to scrutiny and ends up being things where the rest of the hockey world agreed (by their actions) with Babcock.

I thought Mike Modano actually said that was true but didnt want to say it publicly

Which part about Chelios

And who agrees with Babs on what? He was disliked everywhere he went

Commodore just recapped his career affiliation with Babcock on the Fan960 Calgary.

He's quite honest about who he was, and what type of defenseman he was.
He did end up playing 484 regular season games, and 53 playoff games in the NHL.

Played 25 games with the 'Canes when they won the Cup, getting 2nd. pairing minutes.

So according to Commodore:

It wasn't a single incident, but it did start near the beginning of Commodore's career when he was traded to Anaheim. Babcock told him to show up in shape, and Commodore said he always showed up in shape because that was the only way he'd ever stay up. Said he didn't get much of an opportunity in training camp so ended up in the minors.

Talked about how after playing every game in the minors he got called up in Anaheim and Babcock waited until the room was full of all the teammates called him out for being out of shape.

Later in his career, Holland offered him a contract and before signing he called up Babcock and asked him if he really wanted him on the team. Realized his career was probably winding down, but didn't want to be trashed again like he was previously by Babcock. Babcock said yes he needed a RHD. He then sat him for most of the season until late when Holland did Commodore a favor by moving him to his buddy Yzerman late in the season.

We aren't talking a one off here, seems Babcock just had it in for him.

Interestingly, he said he got a text from someone in the Leafs locker yesterday asking him if he was happy? Wonder who?

Where's the truth, probably in the middle, but it wouldn't be surprising if Commodore's recollection if pretty accurate.

Did anyone notice the exchange between Commodore and the Iron Sheik after that tweet. Hilarious stuff.

He might be right, don't see how that justify the level of hate he conjure up for Babcock. I've had bosses that didn't like me for no apparent reason (or they had reasons they didn't communicate). It wasn't fun, ended up changing jobs eventually, I moved on. The last part seems to be something he should be working on.

Commodore needs to calm the f*** down and start acting like a man, instead of the pathetic 12 year old he is being at the moment.

I was off the Babcock train last year, but I'm not going to shit all over a guy when just lost his job. Seriously, who does that?
