RBA and Tripp didn't actually talk ****. People just interpreted it as talking ****.

People who largely had already bought into a ridiculous narrative about how Ferland was not going to play as physical down the stretch once he came back from injury to protect his future contract. But then Ferland came back, and got in fights and hit everything that moved, which should have put an end to it. But bad narratives never die, it seems.

For all the **** we give other fan bases about the people being hard on players and speculating things to the media, we aren't that different with this situation....

We've talked ****, so has this guy, RBA (passive aggressively), Tripp, and other media.

Fans are going to be fanatics, nature of the beast. Tripp on the other hand, yeah he's stoked the flames of this and really hasn't needed to do so.

Much like I felt about Staal a few months ago, this will be a better team with him back in the lineup, if he can get healthy.

Get well soon.
Agreed. With Ferland, Svech and Martinook back this is a much better team. Even if only 1 or 2 of them come back anytime soon, it still helps a lot considering it will get some AHLers out of the lineup and the 4th liners back to the 4th line. The fill ins are playing admirably right now but it's hard to count on them if we want to go deep into the playoffs.

Ferland being healthy will keep shitheads like Matt Martin and Leo Komarov honest at the very least. And he'll be a dynamic shit stirrer like he was against Vancouver a few years ago at his best.
