Boyle played well; what game are you watching?

Boyle was really good I thought.

If he could finish on some of his chances, he'd be a solid player.

He already is a great role player. Personally, I don't get the criticism that Boyle gets. He's not supposed to be the one scoring the big goals. He gets paid $1.7M and he is a top notch penalty killer, good in the face off circle, responsible defensively, and can put together some good shifts in the offensive zone.

People throw their hands up in the air every time he doesn't score a goal on a chance, as if he is supposed to be that elite finisher.

He could well be playing hurt. Remember two years ago, everyone was wondering, what the hell is wrong with Gaborik? Turned out he needed shoulder surgery.
