I'd have to think if Ghost keeps his importance of play high in playoffs that he skips the bridge deal and goes long term. A rookie showcasing his skills in the playoffs and handling it like a 10 year pro is a another huge positive. Kid has a future "A" coming.

I was just reading over the caps board version of this thread. Seems to be lots of rage over the flyers getting love after mr. Snider's death. Some of it is pretty classless. Those posters seem to think the flyers have no chance of winning on their own merit and are expecting a quick beatdown. Funny, I can't remember the last time they beat the flyers in a playoff series. I wonder if they remember this though:

I think it shows they're actually a little worried about playing us. Then they put Snider down to make theirselves feel better. Flyers have nothing to lose but to go out and play hard for Ed. Caps have to fight off choking again.

yep that was Darren Rumble. Was an early tussle. I remember Hextall's first game back in Hershey in preseason. He got into it at that game too. it was fun
