Connor is defensively poor. All round doesn't exist for a one dimensional player

Marner has some inkling of where the defensive zone is. Connor... notsomuch.

Last 3 year, goals above replacement defensively he is in the third percentile. Accuracy is not missing from my statement

20 games definitely outweighs the 300 or so he's played so far.

Heard the same crap about McDavid's supposedly improved defensive game last year. Not saying it's impossible he develops a defensive game, but to come to the conclusion that he's changed after a brief blip of time is stupid.

alot of connors d problems had to do with our terrible d-man and terrible systems. our exits had our wingers at a standstill waiting for a pass at the half wall and most of that time it ended up in their skates so any pressure on them would result in a turn over. now that we have new d-men and new exits we are not having the same issues with connor whats so ever
