No thank you, that would only turn more fans away.

But Bieber is popular and Canadian. :) I can't see what can possibly go wrong.

No offence to Myers and Arnett, but the guys you mentioned are way more popular and more importantly, relevant, than them and thus would be better suited as brand ambassadors.

i agree. wonder if they'd be interested. drake isn't taking any money for being the raps ambassador. i wonder if crowe or reeves would be willing to be the leafs ambassador? do they love the leafs enough to not ask for a salary?

Instead of looking for an Ambassador how about find a Coach and GM first? Derp.

That's Shanahan's job. Not the guy who's talking job.

Don't really need an ambassador, the Leafs are as big as it gets in Canada, they just need a team that'll show up every night. The fans will come.

You ****ing scrubs.

You guys are seriously recommending mike myers and JUSTIN BEIBER?

How about the only true ontario boy that could be the brand anchor that toronto needs?

There is no brand ambassador needed for the leafs. Nothing is going to generate heightened fervor, put butts in seats or get money out of a fans pocket more than winning; and obviously this is going to take time. Instead of losing sleep and finding short-term fixes, they should focus on the production that will be incurred in the maple leafs' future from their patient and continued stance on a proper rebuild. And the fans will always be there; they're desperate for something to cheer for, they just have to provide it on the ice.

Can we make Connor McDavid the Brand Ambassador while we wait for him to become a UFA? :sarcasm:

They want to hug customers?

The renewal rate is probably going to be high on season tickets, likely because of the Personal Seat License/Extortion plan.

They really need to worry about the fans that have never made it to the ACC because of affordability. It's easier to walk away from a team that you never see live and feel a connection to.

Allowing the scalper market to exist without ever mounting a campaign against it is unforgivable. But when your season tickets are thousands of dollars a year, I guess you have to look the other way so your annual customers can afford it.

Does it have to be a male?

I want to see some non-sexist examples of female Leaf Ambassador candidates...

How about Anne Murray?

Kidding aside, who are the relevant female considerations?

Easily the Canadian woman with the "largest" impact worldwide this century, Pam Anderson.

I don't see the need so to me adding one is nothing but "gimmicky", no different than putting Cheerleaders in the stands.

I get why Teams in smaller Markets or the Raptors do it, Leafs should be above that.

The Marlies have cheerleaders. Or are they called a dance crew? Either way, they have them.
