Ended? No. But his reputation was in tatters after that. He looked like a senile old fart trying to get everyone off his lawn.

Mourinho wins the league in 2015. And in 2016 he is washed up and a dinosaur. Tells you more about the pundits and fans than him in my opinion.

He clearly isn't as good as he once was any longer, but that it was clear he was passed it in 2016 is just wrong.

Not sure when he started to change though. Things seemed to sour at Chelsea, but that happens to all managers there.

Don't think United will bring him back though.

They got the money. At this point I would just pay for ten Hag. If he wants to see where he can go with Ajax in the CL this season- then buy Potter.

Mou had his career washed down the toilet because of United to a degree. You're going to bring up Klopp to support your narrative? How is Tuchel's previous employer similar to United? Conte now manages Tottenham because he's tough to get along with etc.

Every manager gets sacked is the point. And any manager that is scared to manage Manchester united ain't a big time manager.

Less ended, more he was exposed as the relic of the past that everyone suspect he was, but that wasn't definitive before then.

I guess it's tough to realize that there's more factors at play than just money.
