Down low around the net the puck is much more likely to come in low around the ice than around a guy's ears. That shot was not a typical shot.

If the puck is behind the net, it's only going to one area - in front of the net. While the shot wasn't typical, being upright would have kept his shoulders more square to the shooter. Instead, being prone left him vulnerable by not being able to push off his right foot to cover the far side. Stuff-ins from behind are more rare.

Maybe staying square to a shot, sure, but I don't think I agree with you about which instance is more prevalent.

Goalie coaches wouldn't be teaching a technique that played the lower odds, that just doesn't make sense.

Ritchie doesn't belong on the team right now. He needs to learn how to skate, he can't overpower NHL players like he did in the lower leagues.

Ritchie ****ed up Tinordi.

Right before it went to the ground it looked like Tinordi put his hands up asking to stop. Anyone see that? Lol
