The cost to sign all 4 players will probably be the same, 7 or 8 years @ $8,500,000. And there are rumors that Werenski wants to stay close to home near Detroit. Pretty sure he doesn't want to play that far away from his family that he has close ties to.

I think Makar is better right now but that is my opinion. I wouldn't trade Makar for either.

Not when they have to pay them to stay and then cant keep mackinnon. Jones' defensive ability is also wildly overrated -- id rather have Makar. But I digress.

Yeah 2 1D that combined will cost you between $17,000,000 to $18,000,000 per season for 7 or 8 years. And you have others to sign like Landeskog this year and MacKinnion within 2 years. If it were me i'd rather have both Makar and Byram over Jones and Werenski. But that's just me personally.
