I agree it should have been a double minor, it would have given the Pens a greater opportunity to score shorthanded goals.

He was a rookie here, the Pens decided to play some wiffle ball to support the Pirates one playoff run in the fall a few years back. Needless to say he was having trouble hanging onto the bat

Crosby's head was clubbed with a weapon by Ovechkin and followed by another blow to the head region by Niskanen and nothing happened. After that fiasco, pretty much anything should be permitted since the precedent is set.
