As a Canucks fan, the earlier he retires the better. Wish him well in retirement if that is the way he goes.
as a Canucks fan, you shouldn't want him to retire any time soon as then the Canucks will be hit with a massive cap penalty
No, the earlier the better, spreads out the penalty over more years. LTIR would be best case though.as a Canucks fan, you shouldn't want him to retire any time soon as then the Canucks will be hit with a massive cap penalty
The only way he could play in a backup role was to a young starter thus the cap hit would be manageable. He’s too expensive to backup Bob and sonis reimer.A goalie of his caliber shouldn’t go out as a backup. Just retire. Last season was a bad enough note to end on. Being a washed up HOFer playing 15-20 games is sad. Giguere went that route and it was hard to watch.
Haha, says a fan of the team who signed him to his cheater contract and doesn't want the cap recapture penalty.Just go on LTIR and enjoy Florida no need to retire
Crazy to think hed still be 191 off of the leadHe needs 11 more wins before he retires.

I would hope he would have more honesty than the other cheaters (Hossa, Zetterberg, etc...) but he won't.

Yeah but then Benning would have less cap space to do dumb shit this summer.as a Canucks fan, you shouldn't want him to retire any time soon as then the Canucks will be hit with a massive cap penalty
Even comparing the Hossa situation to Zetterberg shows how ignorant you are
