So they have a lack of firepower and then cut a guy that looked good offensivcly. If Canada gets bumped because of a lack of offense someone is gonna catch some heat and be questioning some decisions.

Don't they always complain about that, though? They pick a few grinders instead of skill guys to try to make a more rounded team, then if they win (which happens a fair bit) they were geniuses, and if they lose (which happens a fair bit) the fans moan and tear out their hair about the guys they didn't pick, and... it all just happens again the same next year anyway.

I dunno if any countries are really that much different. Russia overlooks guys who are playing in NA. Or USA has a few teacher's pets that seem to always find their way onto the roster, etc.

Aaron Rodgers was angry for several years about being picked 18th because he "wasn't athletic".

He promised to make 17 NHL teams pay for snubbing him. Other than the 49ers, he has done pretty well.

Besides, who can use a hockey player that only scores 1 G and 1 A per game?

Radulov had 152 points in 62 games at age 19-20.

Luke is on a 2 ppg pace so if he can keep it up he’d end up somewhere between those two. Not bad company

Brendan Leipsic... 120pts in 68games.

I bet Tomasino would have had a huge one last year too if the OHL had played... considering he had 100 pts the year before.

Haydar and Gamache had some eye-popping numbers at various levels, Ribeiro... though the last two anyway weren't our prospects at the time they did...

I like how he’s getting goals and assist evenly. He can score goals and help others score as well
