I read somewhere on the main boards that oftentimes players will negotiate adding a NMC to their former contract when signing a new one before the season ends. I have no idea if that is based in fact or not, but it would make sense that a player would do that to avoid the scenario being discussed for Josi.

Nah, I'd trade Forsberg if the right deal came along. Incredibly talented, but also a bit of a selfish player with inconsistent work rate and compete level.

Really just a matter of what you want to do. If you think the whole thing is bad you pretty much move everyone including Forsberg. If you think it just needs a retool then you move either Turris or Joey and then guys like Granlund. I know people have suggested moving Bonino, but I wouldn't, just because he has played the way we want guys to play. Obviously that goes out the door if someone offers you a first.

Not unfair...I would just think his offense is worth building around.
