London
The only thing missing last night was the Harlem Globetrotters theme music playing over the PA while London had the puck. In other words, most of the game.

Our Rangers were terrible.

Agreed they just didn’t seem to appreciate the importance of the game. Also with the missing pieces Hawel and Noel were hard for the Knights D to contain. Surprised we didn’t see a steady diet of them? Just seemed to roll through his lines hoping for something to happen?

Does anyone know if there is/where is the draft party being held this year.
Given the high draft picks this year, I am anxious to see what new talent they add.

Oshawa fan here. I've always wanted to visit London's barn, looks top notch and a great team to watch. I was looking at making the trip this weekend but it seems like tickets are scarce. Is this common to be near sell out each game or does a Sunday game against another good team draw more of a crowd?

Most games are sellouts at just over 9000 (or close to it), but tickets are sold online as well, some from STH who can't make it to a game. Friday night games (our typical home date) provide more energy and excitement in the building than you'll find on a 'sleepy' Sunday afternoon...playoff hockey being an exception.

So unless there are any compensatory picks:

19th overall pick - London
20th overall pick - Ottawa
21st overall pick - North Bay
22nd overall pick - London (from NIA)
23rd overall pick - Sarnia
24th overall pick - SSM
25th overall pick - London (from KGN)

Just take Namestnikov at 22 and Nazar at 25 and watch everyone's head explode ;)

Nazar is a verbal to Michigan...if he goes it'll be in the 1st round. But NCAA commits scare a lot of OHL teams away

a little more on Namestnikov

thescout.ca
Namestnikov can take over a game in an instant. A rugged style that seems to dominate play even with his smaller stature. An exceptionally strong skater with ability to pick up speed with some explosive crossovers. His shooting ability is his strong point with a wicked snapshot and a howitzer of a slapshot. He also possesses strong playmaking talent creating high scoring percentage opportunities for his teammates. Overall, he has become a dynamic forward on a strong Honeybaked team showing why he should be a top prospect in the upcoming draft.

hockeyprospect.com
Max is a highly intelligent player - sees lanes and passing opportunities that very few players seek. He has great skill in tight areas - wonderful hands to go along with a goal scoring ability and below average size.

Hopefully we can get 2 impact guys (who will for sure come) and a flyer on a college commit

Next year should have a few holes that might entice some college Commit to go the OHL route
Stranges-McMichael-Evangelista
Guskov-Dunkley(OA)-Rolofs
McCue-Moskal (OA) - Panwar
McGurn -X -X

Steklov-Skinner
Mailloux-Keane

Roughly 3 spots up for grabs...
