Then and there
Watched the Marseille game and Kamara was impressive again. Not a defensive midfielder in this game any more, but all-action box-to-box player, even an attacking midfielder a lot. He should attract even more interest from a lot of clubs. Good plays from others too, Thauvin, Payet and even Germain, who I usually find useless. Don't remember ever seen this Tunisian Khaoui before, but he did well also.

Kalimuendo showed good moves in his short cameo and has done well while on loan at Lens. Even if he never gets a starting spot at PSG, he looks well on his way to have a good career somewhere.

Yes, Kalimuendo could be a good bench option for PSG.
Kamara was great and so was Gueye. If you have the opportunity to check on him, he's amazing for a young player starting in Ligue 1.

Payet has missed 5 of his 13 penalties in his L1 career. 62% convert rate.
In the CL he has 66% convert rate this year.
That's because refs are cheats and there are people in the stadium blinding him with laser pointers. He's a much better player than his penalty conversion ratio.

Rennes beating Lyon and Garcia being outcoached by Stephan.
Camavinga was put on individual marking on Paqueta and Lyon's offensive game never clicked.

Mbappe has been playing the worst football of his life the last month but he still made an amazing move to give Icardi his first goal on his first shot.

How has Volland been looking for Monaco? Saw a thing about germans abroad & noticed his good production, so was curious how he was settling in.

Very good. Tentative at first, but in the recent 1+ month, his combo with Ben Yedder is amazing. They understand each other and play extremely well together.

One of the very best teams to ever play in Ligue 1, Nantes 94-95. Stopped in the UEFA Cup 1/4 by Leverkusen after a joke of a first leg due to unreal circumstances (3 goalies injured). Pretty sure they would have won the european cup too.
More important than the results was the quality of their play. They were absolutely amazing. Best offense, best defense, best scorer (and 3rd best too). 32 straight games without defeat. With a bunch of kids out of the academy.

To this day, one of the most amazing goal I have ever seen. You can hear the crow reaction going like "what have we just seen". And then when the goal is reviewed on the big screen, people going "Wow" after the first dribble and then "WOW" after the second, and "WOOOOOOOW" after the shot.
Just insane.
Bordeaux trashed PSG 4-0 that night. Became champs a few months later.

Really happy to hear that & hope he has a great run in Monaco.

I've liked Volland...despite him being a sellout & picking Leverkusen over Gladbach :-p...since the exciting partnership that he established with Firmino in their Hoffenheim days. Not a monster in the air like all of the dinosaurs in german football wanted to succeed Klose at the time, but the skill & intelligence to play off of other high-skilled attackers (like Firmino / Havertz / Ben Yedder), combined with his robustness & combativeness always appealed to me.

Amongst the long list of forwards that Jogi should've given more of a look to, Volland was the most inexplicable...even if only in the role that Waldschmidt is now filling for NT.

Yeah, good effort by him until the end, and he came from a decent distance as well. Probably 9 times out of 10 the keeper doesn't allow a rebound like that and/or can recover quickly enough to claim the ball. Nobody would have thought anything unusual about the situation, if the keeper had picked up the ball with nobody being in the vicinity.

Yeah he had a great game. Good to see get out of his funk. He played more simple and on his strengths.
