We should also give credit to Vassy, he played Godlike and he simply is one of the best young goaltending prospects maybe even of all time, truly an amazing talent, but yes some of the outrage here has been crazy we have been playing amazing the past 4 games, just running into hot goalies or playing our trashbucket (Sparks) ourselves.

Tonight it paid off, but I was far more concerned with some of the games before that we were winning and getting outplayed than the last 4 where Halak, Vassy and Luo stole them and Sparks gave one away.

And that's the kind of game and win they needed. Go out there, play well score often, and don't let too many in your net.

The top guys got involved and the fourth line chipped in some at the end. Take that win and be happy with it.

Poor Devils tried to match up our skill and speed. You don't do that against us.


The problem starts when a team kills the neutral zone, we have seen that many times this year.

Good win though, Sabres lost too.

Johnsson and Kappy both pointless but I thought they both played really well tonight, Johnsson in particular had a couple of nice 1-on-1 plays and a few good dishes to Matty.

Best part is Sabres lost in regulation.

Team played okay, just okay, but the Devils played like crap.

Leafs will be better.

I'm not sure why the Devils look so different than last year. They brought back a majority of their roster. But they don't play with the same speed as they did last year. I remember that they battled harder last year as well.

This year, it's not even close. The Leafs have controlled 80% of the games they've played against each other this year.

Good game for the Leafs. Not a great road trip but that puts them at 2-2-1 during it. On the road they're still really good.

They need to figure out their special teams though. It hasn't been near good enough. They should be minimum 80 percent on the pk... they have enough guys that are decent on the pk. They don't seem as aggressive lately.

The powerplay... just to easy to read. Switch something up. They have to keep teams guessing.

In saying all that... 3 home games now before Christmas. It would be really nice to see a 52 before Santa comes.

Kadri, Reilly, and Ennis all played really well tonight. Good solid 60.
