One of the better 60minute performances this year. Still some sloppiness that needs to be taken care of, but they shut down the Tavares line and stopped giving up breakaways/odd-man rushes after the second period. Kessel and JVR...man. There's nothing left to say about Kessel but JVR just seems to be getting better all the time. The guy is a beast.

With Bozak and Kadri coming back, we survived it.

Luckily we have played Buffalo 2x, Calgary, Edmonton, NJ, and NY Isles in that span.

This team will have to play better when the schedule evens out with better teams.

Good note, you could see Clarkson come on in his last 3 games. 10 game suspension rust wearing off. Congrats on a memorable first Leafs goal. #Snipe

See Avatar picture. Nice to have them back.

Great game! Shout out to Trevor Smith for a great 2nd stint with the big club.

Kessel snipeshow, nice to see Clarkson score. Bernier was solid, team overall played well. Cut down the turnovers please. Lupul played great too. Raymond-McClement-Kulemin is a beastly line.

JVR..what can you say?

Out shot in another win, Clarkson scores, Kessel ends his "slump".. What's the media gonna talk about now?

Possibly the Leafs' best 60 minute effort all season.

Lupul and Kessel with big nights, and Clarkson finally scored. Stellar goaltending as usual... Good night all around :handclap:

JVR and Kessel best 2 on 1 duo since Sundin and Mogilny.

Totally. THey've got a ridiculous success rate on 2-on-1s and seem to get a lot of them. They're both great skaters and have no problem scooping up and passing/receiving the puck at full speed.

Tavares was invisible. And I mean absolutely invisible. Mclaren made better plays than Tavares tonight.

Much needed/expected win. Will be interesting seeing the roster moves going into thursday. Expecting to see Smithson being sent down, but not sure who the other will be between Smith and Holland if both Bozak and Kadri are back.

We went 2-1 in these games without our top 3 centres. How can people still say that we have a bad team?

This ticks me off. You listen to sports radio and its like every other team has some reason for not playing well and is undeserved. We havent iced our full lineup once all season and all they can do is rag on them.

Guys, this was not the best game by the Leafs this year. Short memories. That would be the game against Pittsburgh.

Great game by the leafs. Statement game for all those Bozak fan boys out there because as usual, Kessel and JVR produce the EXACT same with any half capable center.
