I pointed it out clear as day. Our team got outshot every game, they claimed we didn't deserve a playoff spot. Jets get outshot and play poor defensively all season. Do they stand by that viewpoint still?

I'm sorry. Why do I need to clarify this? I feel like you are intentionally causing a riff here.

Why so confrontational? I'm not holding my guitar so no riffs here ATM.

I don't follow your team closely so I have no idea if you get outshot on a regular basis or not. That applies to previous years and that applies to the current season (which is why I asked for clarification in the first place).

I'm not one of "they" who claimed anything, the goalie is part of the team and a goalie is the main reason a team made the playoffs, there's nothing wrong with that. If a team makes the playoffs then they deserve it, period.

Does that help?

Markstrom .909 Lehner .890 and currently in the AHL
You're not doing your argument favors
Lehner’s currently on a conditioning loan due to his injury and Markstrom’s .909 SV% is still better than the .902 SV% Andersen has (on a MUCH better team no less) and .906 SV% he has put up over the last two.

But sure, we can keep pretending the Leafs getting stoned by the other goalie only for the opposition to score on their first good chance against often is a good thing.

Leafs have to make sure they don't make the same mistake this offseason as CGY and VGK made last offseason with "starting" goalie signings.

Its a dumpster fire in the jets thread.
Haha
I guess they'll find out verrry quickly how terrible there team actually is, now that the backup is playing.

I wonder if we'll go for 2 points after getting the touchdown?

Tonight the tables are going to be turned, the Jets will get totally outplayed and outshot, but the Leafs will win and Andersen will steal the game.

I don't know if they can make mistake even if they wanted to.

There are about 5 teams with money, not cap space, money.

Guys Aren't getting pre pandemic money because most teams can't add money

.07% is literally almost nothing and Lehner is on conditioning to fix his .890sv%?
Interesting.

I enjoy watching Ehlers and Connor play. I just enjoy watching them a lot more when they lose to the Leafs. Would be nice to start another winning streak heading into the break. This place is unbearable when they have a few days off after a loss.

Lately this place has been unbearable every time we give up a goal.

Interesting.
.07% is everything when the Flames are near the bottom of the division and are still getting league average goaltending from their starter. Andersen is playing like the third best goalie on the roster right now.

Hell, Sparks isn’t a NHL goaltender at all and managed to put up a .902 SV% on a Leafs roster that had Hainsey and Zaitsev in their top 4. The team has improved since, Andersen has gotten worse since. It’s painfully obvious.

So your argument is .07% is everything yet the team that has that advantage of everything is, by your words, near the bottom of the league, so I'm thinking it's not everything.
Not arguing Andersen hasn't slipped but I'm just willing to wait to see if he bounces back AND the idea that he is easily replaceable, even at this low point, is pretty funny because there is nothing out there that is a clear upgrade worth spending assets on

Honestly some of them are pretty hilarious then you have those extremely cringey ones like the Oilers lord of the rings thread

Yes, Habs had a couple good ones where I had a good chuckle, and there's those quite cringeworthy as you said the lord of the rings as a perfect example.

Here are some quality GDT threads and pretty sure there are bunch more:

GDT: - Game 19: Montreal Canadiens vs Winnipeg Jets 2/25/21 8:00pm EST

GDT: - Game 23: WPG @ MTL Sat Mar 6, 2021 – 7pm ET

I hope they don’t make mistake and keep Andersen around either.

These are the two best teams in the east, by a significant margin. First two games have been a tense knife-edge series (Hellebuyck has been awesome), so probably going to be another competitive game today!

How the hell did I miss Sabourins first AHL shift with the Marlies.

Guy lasted 23 seconds before getting ejected and now back up with the taxi?

Last line of the Yahoo Sports article on the play:

"The Marlies, potentially both inspired and terrified by Sabourin’s display, defeated Laval 4-3."

Same save % as Helle

Believe it or not there's very different quality of chances. 1 shot from centre ice is not the same as a shot from 2ft away from the goal. Freddy had 1 difficult save all night, the shot on Forbort when he came down the right circle. Helly made 5 saves more difficult than that on just Nylander alone last game.
