I don't know what your expectations were but he was no worse than NAK and ZAR or any other players that were auditioning for the 4th line role. He scored 2G 1A in 5 games with a plus 3. He showed his speed and wasn't a liability defensively. Perfect for a 4th liner. Anderson was a disappointment (0G 0A 3GP -3) and invisible.
i thought he was by far the worst option

Of course you're entitled to your opinion but you've lost all credibility if you think Anderson was a better option.

I mean of the ones playing or on the bubble, sorry. I think everyone can agree Anderson was the worst.

If Engvall wants to stay in the lineup he had better start using his size to his potential. Otherwise he can look for a job on a submarine as the Human Periscope.

Couple of things

Phil will be setting an iron man record tonight, and may possibly score his 400th reg season goal

Samsonov who has started his Leafs career at 4-0-0 has tied the record held by rookie Frank McCool during the 44/45 season. McCool also won the SC with the Leafs that year while setting the record for most playoff shutouts recorded by a Leafs goaltender in one playoff year.

44/45 I'm pretty sure is also the year that the Leafs were down 3-0 in the final to the Detroit Red Wings and came back to win. A first for any team in hockey.
