I think these lines are worth trying for a while. It provides better balance to our top 9. If they all play to their potential, it's almost like having 3 number one lines by most teams standards.

This team looks consistently unprepared to play from puck drop. It would be nice if our 40 million dollar coach could figure out a way to motivate these guys because I get the impression they think they're champions already in their own minds and it shows when they play down to their competition.

Right now, this looks like a group that will at best win one round and even that's very questionable. Need to start showing another gear now, no more of this BS.

They are professionals, if they don’t know by now that you have to bring it every night there’s not much hope. It’s much easier said, than done and every team in the league does it at some point.

Better now than in the playoffs. If we didn't have a sub 900 performance from our goaltending... If kadri didn't take that 3 game suspension... If mathews showed up, we win that series against Boston, even with that defense.

This team just needs to show up and get the job done. They've been rather disappointing and frustrating to watch. They've got the talent so they just have to get out there and do something.

At the very least show up before the last 10 minutes of the third period. That'd be nice.

Clearly Willy is making Naz hit posts and Vasilevky make incredible saves.

This sarcasm is defensive. There is truth to comments about Nylander's presence. He's not at a scapegoat level, but the roster and team play is out of sorts.

I hope we do. Those line combo's looked really good. I'd also like to try something different on defense. Rielly Gardiner looked great together in the 3rd. Why not give them a try in a full 60 minute game and see what happens?

let 29 get eased into the situation with 91 as his center while other players who have been here can go on full steam.

putting 34-29 together where both of them are trying to get their legs going is not a good idea IMO

a nice 8-1 smashing to calm the fans would be nice. Nylander 4 points, Matthews Hatty and some wizard moves from Marner finished off by Tavares. Rielly getting 8 secondary assists.

Sounds like an obvious outcome.
