More good business. I believe he plays C and wing. He was on pace for like 50 points last year IIRC until he went down. Tore it up the 1st half of the season. Could be similar to Raymond for us last season.

Don't look too much into those offensive numbers. Played with the Sedin's at the beginning of the year, IIRC.

That's a solid move. I assume now we're out of the Legwand race though.

Very good depth mone and was one my favorite signings for our 3rd or 4th lines.

Tough to say for sure whether or not it's the better option, but given the Leafs track record with monster contracts, this is a refreshing change.

Clarkson contract must have scared Nonis. Or, more likely, Shanny's laying down the law.

Can Santorelli take faceoffs?

Ya he can take faceoffs.

He was 51% last season

This could open up using Holland in a deal with someone like Franson to acquire a better piece.

That didn't haven anything to do with his production. He played on a line with Higgins or Hansen. It was their 3rd line at the time but was their #1 on most nights. They were hot as hot could be, then fell off.

To think we spent .5 million more and went from McClement to Santorelli is amazing.

A blackhole of offense to someone who can actually do something in the bottom 6.

Another bandaid. Would much rather the kids play.

Every team needs depth. There's plenty of roster spots for the young players. Giving spots to young players without competition is worthless.

If anything, this could be a pick at the deadline if the Leafs are bad enough. Win win.

At first I thought this thread was referring to Claus... but then I realized that didn't make a lot of sense.
