This team is just not good enough.

This “effort” tonight is exactly why I didn’t get overly excited after that good week against Tampa, Florida and the Canucks last week.

It’s as if they have this comfort kind of mentality after winning a few games.

Im the biggest Marner fan there is but he sucks right now. Cant seem to handle the puck or make any kind of pass.

Im confident he will find his way again though as he is still very young. Tavares is worrysome.

He is awesome at impersonating Malgin and has learned how to do a few card tricks on the side.

He's just so..... blah. You notice him, but he never does anything. Just sorta zips around the ice not being strong, not passing well, not shooting well

San Jose absolutely dominated Toronto, can't give up four or five goals every single game and expect to win. Would be nice to have a goaltender that only allowed two or less every now and then, will never happen with this garbage team

Is noone here capable of just admitting that so far its been back and forth but The boys have been stone cold robbed by Jones a number of times so far.

Bad, sloppy effort, completely discombobulated like a bunch of guy's who have never played with each other before. Campbell was great until he broke. Some spectacular moments from Marner, some awful moments from Marner, Kerfoot is a disaster. Tavares couldn't handle the puck, Gauthier looks like he never played the sport before. Rosen is quietly efficient out there. Don't understand why Marincin is getting the green light to roam. Holl, too. When did this guy turn into Scott Niedermayer? If they bothered skating they would have had this. So many breakdowns on San Jose's end too. They are a terrible team.
