That is a really good extension. Super deserved. I was hoping for closer to 1.5M but there's no way Holl was taking that after the season he's having.

Joking aside, I'm glad he is signed, 3 yeas is a reasonable term for a 4 to 6 Dman.

And still very affordable for a dependable bottom pairing D who is good enough to move up the lineup when injuries happen.
He's played well. I think 2 million for 3 years for a 4 to 6 dman is solid. No issues.
He will hopefully continue to get better... but even where he is now, if he keeps up with the play, no issues with that contract.
