Take the 86 from Kennedy station or the 85 from Don Mills station.

The 86 is probably better because not all of the 85 buses go to the zoo. I'm assuming that you are talking about taking the TTC, though.

You can also just put where you are and your destination on google maps, and it'll give you several options regarding TTC, showing the exact times of the bus/subway/streetcar schedule too.
