A bit of a tough loss because they had some great stretches in the first 40 minutes and either hit the post or Rinne was there. Matthews even missed an open net. They were pretty bad in the third period though.

I can't wait to read the overreactions and hot takes based on this though.

When you special teams suck this much and you miss a ton of really good chances, chances are you're not going to win. We outplayed them but you can't be missing so many good chances.

Good first couple of periods with some bad luck. Third was underwhelming with one missed chance.

PP is slumping.

Rinne is good, and the Preds D is amazing.

Bad luck with two posts and a called back goal, plus Matthews' missing a rare gift.

Hutch was solid again though.
