Tavares is like 30. He's not retiring anytime soon. Their core is good. There will always be moves to make but I think Toronto should not blow it up. Their core pieces are amazing. I'm a Habs fan and hope we complete the ultimate humiliation tommorow but Toronto will be good for a long time.

If only Matthews didn’t demand to be paid more than generational type salary. Then Mitch wouldn’t have felt the need to push for a similar contract cause on the ice he was very close to Matthews value. This Leafs era ended with a stroke of a pen on the dotted line of unearned big money contracts.
