Sounds unreal man. As far as keeping going over the summer, do you guys live anywhere near each other?

Well shes from some tiny town like six hours away near cornwall but will be living right near campus most of the summer.

I was scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed and noticed some girls were posting pictures that over 200+ likes, I was confused as to why everyone was liking their bland selfie. But then I looked on their profile and they have over 1500 friends  I looked at mine, around 250, but I can say I actually know everyone on my friends list :P I just don't see the point in adding everyone I once met, I could not care less about whatever they post and I'd never end up actually messaging them.

Hate people like that. It's gross. Attention seekers. Like Vor.

Didn't even know this thread existed.
There a midnight crew slavin away at work right now or am I alone out here

I just don't sleep at night. I'm a night crawler. Should probably work graveyards doe.

Still working at tims? Are they open 24 hours?

Yeah, we only close like 1 day a year. Other time's we're just close for partial days.

Christmas Day we're closed, Christmas eve we close at like 2PM, New Years eve we close at 2 PM as well I believe. We open again 7 AM New Years Day for everyone hung over. He makes killer cash too. There's a Tim's on the outskirts of town that's opened on Christmas Day. He makes insane amounts of money lol

Gotta feel for the people working on Christmas though. The odd time I've been driving through town on Christmas I love it, completely deserted and no one on the roads

Yeah but they make amazing money in tips and they're closed by 3. So it's a win-win, plus they get the bonus pay on their checks. Kind of worth it lol. And I'm pretty sure its voluntary.

True, but you gotta have a pretty ****** personal life where you don't have places to be or people to be with on Christmas. Unless you're really struggling for cash, the family time during the holidays tend to be more valuable to people then double pay for a day. My work was always closed by 4 or 5 on Christmas eve and didn't re-open till the 27th. Made for a nice break and got paid for Christmas anyways.

My wife is a waitress at a casino so she has to work everyday of the year as well. She makes an absolute killing in tips on holidays so we don't care, my family just plans it around her since her work closes at like 6 on Christmas Eve. but once we have kids I don't think id want her working on Christmas Eve or day. New Years I don't care. I definitely feel for people who don't get the extra money though.

Did you work at the one by the bus station? (not by the mall) I use to go to that subway after class all the time on the way back home

(I don't think that's the one though.)
Nah I worked at the one besides the Little Caesars/Blockbuster. Theyre all owned by the game guy though.

Doesn't necessarily mean they have a **** personal life  maybe they don't celebrate christmas or make a big deal out of it.

Lol so that **** wasn't even an interview. Basically just walked in and the girl started telling me about the job and gave me papers that I need to fill out by May 5th.

For the 2 years I worked at Subway, I worked both Christmas Eve's which we were open till 4, and both Boxing days lol. I honestly had to work basically every holiday. I even worked New years day, so hunger. The one new years I went to bed at like 5, and woke up at 8 basically to work.

Ended up going out for St. Paddy's. Was a good time. Went to an Irish bar, then a club here in barrie. After we went to smokes poutine. Anyone who has ever been to a smokes knows what I'm talking about. So good. Weird thing was though my buddies and I were sitting there when this absolute dime comes up and sits with us. We had never met her before. She then vented for half an hour how her dad had passed away 2 years prior and how she can only talk about it drunk and can't even discuss it with friends sober. It was tough to have to leave because how do you shut a girl down while talking about that? She was a very cute girl however. Just sad and felt bad. She also kept repeating herself. Annoying.

No wonder you smoked poutine;)
