That was really classy and very nostalgic. Nice ceremony for red wings fans of all kinds. It was a good marker for the end of the competitive era.

I like how athletes the moment they retire talk about how things were 'back in my day' as if it was a 100 years ago. "Back in my playing days, we didn't have this fitness equipment..", "Nowadays, it's all about healthy nutrition." Dude, you retired in 2011, not 1975.
