They're also going to keep all their fans from here now that the team is closer than it was before.

I don't understand any of these decisions from the NFL's perspective. The NFL seems to think Raider fans will drop their team or something, but we've suffered through watching absolute garbage and are about to be rewarded. I've read that some people in Oakland won't be dropping the team either.

There will not be two teams in LA in 15 years.

Raider Nation is one of the best fanbases in sports. They have stuck thru Davis Sr shenanigans and a move to LA and back. This one of the reasons why they will succeed in LV, not only will they still have their fans in Oakland but some of their LA fans will certainly come watch them plus the locals. Golden Knights are going to be hurting IMO.

Last ditch effort to try and keep them there, but I don;t see it working. Davis is hell-bent on going to Sin City & the NFL has already spoken to Vegas Sportsbooks about potentially removing Raiders games (home, away & playoffs) from their tickets.

The Indian Reservations across the border in AZ (or Reno if they allow Nevada) will be flooded with Raider bets. They're all probably licking their chops.

It appears Goodell responds to Schaff and still nowhere near good enough

This Oakland proposal and revised plans etc...just continued to be PR pieces for the city knowing the Raiders are as good as gone. Just political cover.

The Fortress and Ronnie Not-a-Lott plan was doomed from the start. Should be an easy vote next week.

They screwed themselves. They should have came out with a plan long ago, right around when the Raiders said they were looking into LV. Not a week before the owners vote. Now they just look desperate and unorganized.

It's amazing that in a period of a year LA has gained two football teams and the Bay Area has lost one. Feel bad for Raider fans today.

I wonder why Miami opposed, or do they just oppose everything?

Now Mark Davis' dream can come true.

Out of the coliseum and into fabulous Las Vegas!

Does Oakland becomes the first city in terms of major league sports to lose the same franchises twice ?

sad day for the bay area. the raiders are ingrained in bay area culture and it's going to be very weird knowing they won't even be playing in CA anymore. that fanbase is one of the most dedicated in all of sports and it's hard not to feel bad for them

wonder how it'll play out these next few years as they'll continue to play in oakland in front of fans who know they're going to leave. and just when they're good again, talk about bad timing

anyone know why miami opposed the move?

Bummer for the fans in Oakland.

I'll probably avoid going to Vegas when they have home games. To this day, most of the locals still complain about the weekend when the NBA All Star game was in town.
