So Pengu you still think Landy is worth 8 or 9? You insisted that Hyman would get 6 or 7 showing Landy's worth. Now that Hyman will ONLY be making $5 million which is still an overpayment will you finally agree that Landy may not be worth as much as you think.
Fair deal is absolutely 7x7. And that is only because of intangibles and previous overpayments to other players. His actual worth is less as the last few years will be bad. Hope the cap goes up for anyone who signs him. If 7x7 is true he is a fool to leave for even a bit more $. He gets to play with Nathan f'in Mackinnon and has great chance to win a cup. I am sure he has developed many relationships as well as his family members and he will tear them all away from that for a bit more $ that won't impact his quality of life at all? Good luck to him if he does. If he values $ more than I hope he is happier elsewhere, but Colorado should not go higher that 7x7 which is more than fair.
