I remember when Kings fans used to claim this guy was the most underrated prospect in the league

He was quite good. 50 goal season while playing as top center for the defense-heavy North Bay Battallion.

Growth isn't linear, though. He plateaued as he made himself a very good AHL player. He had struggles making his mark in the NHL.

I don't think he's bad. Just in need of a change of scenery.

Mike Reilly has surprisingly been solid this season and Brannstrom has looked ready to learn in the NHL imo. Wolanin's play has been underwhelming, Ottawa doesn't have a spot for him any longer.

And if Sanderson can make the jump, Reilly does not have a spot either (unless you consider the 7th D a spot). So this should have been expected.

And he's born in Quebec City 17th March 1995! Like only weeks before the Nordiques moved out of QC. Must have sucked for Craig.

He was a good d-man. He was also the last Nordique to possess the puck, in the final moment of their final game.
