Then why is the feeling around Jets fans is that it would a severe overpayment to extract Laine out of Winnipeg? Laine seem to be available for different reasons (according to rumors) how come what you’re saying doesn’t work both ways?

He’s a proven prolific goal scorer and you don’t sell low because his last season wasn’t great. Some people are placing value just on last season, in which case, best to hold onto him as the expectation is that a 21 year old should rebound.
