It was a great accomplishment by him and yes he's good. Laine is ripping it up twice before he is twenty. It's not Laine's or my fault Matthews couldn't do it!

At 58 games played he hit ppg untill 61 games played aswell.

Fantasy is a world in which all your dreams are desired, the world I’m living in(and you are as well) is one where it’s common for hockey players with sample sized game start to deflate nearing the end of the season...

In reality Matthews is on pace for less than Laine with sample sized games, in reality Matthews ain’t pushing nothing but the elevator buttons in the hospital.

Also if you would had listened or even paid any attention to the players performance in constrast to your all mighty Matthews you would had realized Laine has the 3rd most Goals of any teenage hockey in the history of the NHL, as he just surpassed Gretzky... No comparisons just the truth behind the statistics and performance of Laine, but you would know cause you haven’t seen or even followed Laines play.

You know I really don't care that you think Laine is so much better then Matthews. As a fan of the Jets you're allowed to have fanboy in you and cheer for your guy. But what really disgusts me is the injury jokes, as if your happy Matthews got hurt. I remember last year when Laine was out with a concussion a lot of leaf fans to a tee were all concerned for him. But projection was not allowed for Laine last year when he was injured. Matthews started fast and then his numbers started to normalize. He had 4 goals in his last 10 games, so one can't unequivocally proclaim he would have the same amount of goals as Laine has now. Or he would be pushing 50 goals. Being Healthy or not healthy is reality, not fantasy. Thus real stats are used. Not what if stats.
