Oilers offer a 6th round pick for Jeff Carter 50% retained. What say you Pens fans? Would Dubas do right by him and give him possibly his last shot on a contender?

Sullivan might lose his mind without having Carter to play every damn game.

Its weird that the zero success Dubas had doesn't scare the shit out of Pens fans.

I'm not sure what Dubas could do anyway. Most of the team has no trade or no move clauses, he can't even try to do anything with the core (which seems to include EK now), and I don't think he's allowed to even consider firing Sullivan. So I'm personally not worried about Dubas because it seems clear that the FSG doesn't have any desire to change things radically.
