Tap in from a brutal rebound and a shot that deflected from his skate. He was bound to get some points, but mostly he's been carried by Pyörälä and Heponiemi.
His pass was slick though, drawing 2 defenders to him and passing to Pyörälä who was all alone.

Seems like so many of these kids can’t make that jump to anything more than a fourth or third liner to out of the league even.

Really all LA has in the pipe is Vilardi (who knows if he ever plays) and Kupari.

I hear Thomas is not physical enough by some in the know.

I used to get pumped by these stats but now I take a more tempered approach.

Kupari only needs 6 points to surpass his totals from last year. I think another thing that is important is that Karpat is currently in first place in Finland

And he's still only 18 ! He does not turn 19 until March 15, at the end of LIGA season. He grew a lot in the last year as well. Saw him listed at 5'11" 163 at the beginning of last year,
when I was researching the draft...he's 6'1" 185 I think and still growing. May be 6'3" 205 by the time he's 20. No matter, he has good size, good skills, and top end speed.
