Holy shit kid, that was dirty.

Someone in the NHL would rightfully kick his ass for that. f***ing hate when players hang their teammates out to dry like that because you know Kupari isn't dropping the gloves.

He'll learn though.

Disappointed Shafigullin has yet to register a point in 11 games, and he only averages 7 minutes of ice time per game.

Södergran with an assist on the final goal of a 7-4 victory today. A nice one at that, and the goal essentially sealed the game after Mora had consistently responded to LHC goals but couldn’t follow this one up. Gustavsson in the Linköping goal had a pretty bad night, to say the least.

Perhaps Södergran is the darkhorse of this season.

His junior numbers werent too bad at all but no points with the pro’s last year.

Perhaps he has turned a switch.

Not sure if it's so much turning a switch as it is his game being quite tailored to the pros. I saw him a lot already in 16/17 and was a big fan. No one talked about him as a legit prospect and statistically he wasn't amazing (11 points in 30 games) but the eye test showed something else. It showed a guy who just hustled really hard all over the ice, was a solid skater, good offensive instincts, decent enough hands and shot and a strong forechecker.

Admittedly I didn't expect him to have the success he has had so far this season but I always believed there was a solid player there, just wasn't sure if his talent would take him all the way to the NHL or if he would top out as a productive SHL / euro league player. Right now it's looking like the former. Definitely seems like the Kings got a steal, but its early still obviously.

It's cool because I think only me and VictorLustig (who was even higher on him than I was) was talking about him on these boards and he wasn't ranked by any scouting list except FC.

Beauty goal by Kupari. Enters the zone with speed, and fires a wrist shot.

Sodergran with a beautiful centering pass.

Shafigullin hasn't scored a point in 13 games, and is averaging less than 7 minutes/game
