Been A Miller fan since his first year. Was sad last year, convinced he was done...
My mind is blown how well he is playing!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes . I was never a big K Miller fan . I just didn’t think he was very good with the puck or liked his decision making . He’s playing it safe more now and it really suits his game . He’s perfect for the 3rd pair .

That's his 2nd $250K bonus of the year. Can still earn another $500k - I think he will get there.

Brings his earnings up to $2 million for the season. Still worth it.

Questioned the timing and structure of the contract at the time. After all this time, I still haven't deferred to Evan Gold even though I keep saying he's a genius.

I think he knew how close he was to losing his career. He really put in a tremendous effort to come back and he is making the most of his opportunity now.

It really feels good to see an athlete come back even better than before, it is such a rare thing to see.

I've nibbled some crow here for sure. I am not taking a full bite till we see what happens with his health, though. It's only been a handful of games.

Nice story. I am sure you have plenty of those story. Boston has for sure one of the best sport fan for sure close to their bench.
Thanks. My sister and I feel like the den mothers. We are very protective of the B's.

There are many great fans of the B's. There are also a few that I would like to slap. There is no one on this current team that I dislike. I believe they all are trying and want to win. I HATE when fans get on a player who is having a tough game. It never helps that player.

The players usually ignore those fans that get on them but I remember one time one loud drunk guy with a B's jersey on was screaming and swearing at Big Z. Z shocked all of the fans and the B's by looking right at that asshole and saying "Why don't you come down here and say that". The guy was escorted out.

Kevan worked his ass off to get back for the love of the game. He is in very good physical shape. I don't get why any fan cannot appreciate that. I am so very happy for him.

I've never understood that type of mentality, to be vile and personally insulting to players. If they are having a bad night, do these idiots think the player doesn't already know that? Kevan should get full respect for coming back from what seemed to be a career ending set of injuries. It is really pretty amazing. I hope he can stay healthy as he is doing well on the third. Still not a fan of his puck skills, but he brings other things that are just as important. You have to think Zboril likes being out there with him, just as Gryz did when he was young and learning the NHL game.

I posted on the post game thread that I am willing to eat crow on how Miller has played so far . I was certainly NOT in favor of the Miller signing. Hoping I am eating my more crow at season end. GO BRUINS

man.
I hope he stays healthy for the season.
Can you imagine if we had this Miller in the 2019 Cup Finals??

He definitely would have been a difference maker. A heavy hitting defenseman who wouldn't hesitate to drop the gloves if necessary? Oh yes, they could have used #86 back there for sure.

has to be a shoe-in for the Masterton no? Perhaps his only competition might by Bobby Ryan now in Detroit?

Probably gonna be Oskar Lindblom in Philly after returning from cancer treatment but Miller should be the Bruins nominee easy

forgot about him, good catch, feels like one of those award where you can`t really go wrong. Wonder if it would be a worthy award to issue to multiple players who have overcome obstacles rather than be one were simply one "winner" is chosen?

Really though, every year it seems there's a few guys who deserve some recognition for what they've been through. Also it feels kind of weird to rank their adversity haha

I was sold that he'd be able to play (though wasn't sure how well) and said as much here when I saw the workout video posted after the signing. People made fun of the take, but I knew you just can't do the ridiculous things he was doing in that video with a bum knee.

If Zboril continues to play well, $2.75M for the third pair is pretty good value.

Interesting that it also happens to exactly equal the cap hit for the 7th/8th defenseman.

Yes, that is one expensive insurance policy sitting in the press box or on Don Del Negro's table. I don't think that was one of Sweeney's better moves even with the caveat that he was dealing with a lot of unknowns at the time.
