Worked last year, no doubt in my mind they game planned for it again this year. He really needs to stop falling for it.

Either Babcock should have been on the refs, or the rest of the Leafs should have shown some balls. None of that happened. Kadri literally went up against the entire Bruins team on his own. If what he did is suspension worthy, then you can make an argument that there should be at least 3 Bruins suspensions.

Based on what the refs did in this game, the Leafs should have a huge problem with Kadri even getting one game. The NHL and refs brought this on based on how they officiated this game.

None of that excuses what Kadri did. None of that will matter to the league when they are deciding how long to suspend him for.

A high cross check is exactly what Debrusk deserved, but Kadri is def getting mutliple games for that with his history. It sucks too because nobodys mentioning Chara slamming Kadris head into the boards with two hands right after. If Kadris gonna get tossed for a retaliatory crosscheck after the borderline hit on Marleau, why is there no call on Chara?
