And both points scored in the same game, so that makes points once in 17.

In what I’ve seen from him this season, he’s been pretty mediocre, had trouble finishing and seems hesitant to pass, takes the puck behind the net a lot.

Disappointing rookie season for him so far.

Not every #2 OA is Evgeni Malkin. He'll be fine.

Rangers unlucky with their picks lias kratzov now kakko . All 3 not showing their potential of where they were picked. Looks like the rebuild needs a rebuild.

Is it bad luck or is it the Rangers and their poor job of developing and handling their prospects?

Andersson trending down with apparent personal issues with the Rangers. Kravstov yo-yo'ing between the USA and Russia and back to the USA with poor results. Kakko should be in the AHL, but is being Nino'd in his astounding rookie year.

There seems to be something wrong in the water...

Kravtsov is in the AHL doing well. That’s all water under the bridge. Andersson was just a bad pick (which they made up for with Chytil).

Haven't seen an 18 year old worse than Kakko in quite some time though.

He’s been inconsistent. He’s gone through stretches where he’s looked really good and then disappeared for while. If he wasn’t the 2nd overall pick I don’t think people would be making such a big deal. Same thing has happened with Jack Hughes this year.

I’m a bit surprised the Rags haven’t given him some extended time in the AHL.

Everytime someone brings up KK and Hughes disappointing seasons, someone has to chime in with "they're only 18".

Compared to other 1st and 2nd overall 18 year olds, their seasons are still disappointing.

Hughes is having maybe the worst first overall 18 year old season on two decades.

Both of the top picks should be in a different league.

Shame that they're getting bullied in the NHL just because of where they were picked.
