Very good young defenceman that was really highly touted before his draft year then dropped because of a blood clot issue which forced him to miss significant time. Excellent skater, great size. Offensive upside was always questioned, but took a huge step in his D+1 season and has shown good progression in the AHL.

Just stat watching he seems pretty far along for his age. To be ~ .5ppg Dman in the AHL is impressive. Same draft as Guhle.

Wow. Pretty surprised we got him and a second for Lehkonen but Avs def going for it and he’s a RFA. As others have said, I think he fits well with Romonov, Guhle and Mailloux going forward.
