I think the only thing lacking in Deboers coaching game right now is a game where we dominated but didn't come out with the lead and rolled for lines and won by trusting in that without being too hasty to make line up adjustments.

I really don't look back at 16 the way Canucks do with their 2011 run as we still didn't win and the season we go all the way would be far better than 16, but I'll refer to it here as that year was riddled with those type of games, and its such a great confidence builder to have those type of games.

I do chalk DeBoer up to just doing whatever it takes to win, so I can't really be mad. And I also think as sharks fans we are a victim of wanting it too much, and not feel so defeated after a game we did pretty well in despite a couple errors.

Not gonna look through the whole thing, but Burns passes Thornton setting a team record for most assists (17) in the first 16 games. Pretty significant considering Joe's past and that 16 games is basically 20% of the season.
