Would the Penguins have any interest in Noah Hanifin at a reduced cap hit and what do the Pens have to offer?

I really don't get why people assume the Penguins, who currently have like $13 million between their LD when healthy, plan on spending big assets or acquiring an expensive LD. They literally just need a temporary guy for a 5th that they'll put on waivers in 6 weeks, that's it.

Their current healthy defense is this and the bolded are guys that are injured right now:

Dumoulin-Letang
Pettersson-Marino
Matheson-Ruhwedel
Riikola-Ceci
POJ-Trotman

That's why they want to add a D right now, 4 of their best 8 D (and 3 of their 4 best LD) are hurt.
