Its gonna take a lot for the Avs not to be contenders. Adding Makar, Meloche, Ott 1st to their current core is going to make then deadly in a few years. The one area they might still struggle will be depth scoring. I think a guy like Jost who starts slow might be perfect because he wont command a huge salary. They need to be patient and draft forwards this year. Team will be dominant soon.
